Updated guidance for tradespeople in the home issued to households in England as Covid restrictions ease

New guidance for tradespeople working in the home has been issued to households in England as the government sets out its plan for 'Living with Covid-19'. Whilst all remaining domestic Covid regulations ended on Sunday 27th February, households should be aware that tradespeople may continue to take precautions when visiting their homes to carry out heating, plumbing or maintenance services.

Decarbonising Heating: Government urged to avoid ‘one size fits all approach’ as poverty levels rise

According to latest statistics, Northern Ireland is set to face a surge in the number of households in extreme poverty. The findings by the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) predict that all regions in the UK will see extreme poverty rise by more than 10% in the coming year. It is estimated that poverty in Northern Ireland will increase by 67%.

Government urged to tackle UK’s winter death and cold home crisis
