Find an OFTEC training centre
Update May 2021 – Please note, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, training centres may not be running to their usual timetable of courses. They are also likely to have fewer trainees per course so you may need to wait longer than usual to secure a place. If your qualifications are due to expire in the next six months, we highly recommend booking a course as soon as possible to avoid a lapse in your registration due to expired qualifications. Plus, like a vehicle MOT, taking your re-assessments up to 6 months early will not impact the validity period of your qualifications. So if your qualifications are due to expire in June 2020, you can take them any time between January 2020 and June 2020 and the next expiry date will be June 2025.
Please visit our COVID-19 information page for further information about OFTEC services.
Our network of over 90 independent OFTEC-approved training centres offers a wide range of courses, designed to give you the competencies you need to succeed in the heating industry. As well as running OFTEC’s own oil or solid fuel training courses they provide training on a wide range of other heating and related technologies.
Before contacting a training centre, you may wish to double check that you have the appropriate pre-requisites for your chosen course – click here to view.
If you need to renew your current qualification(s), please contact the local training centre offering your qualification(s) to discuss your requirements.
