Why source equipment from an OFTEC member?
Manufacturers of oil-fired equipment for use in the home, businesses or public buildings that have been accepted as members of the OFTEC association must prove both technical and financial competence.
Manufactured equipment must comply with industry-recognised, national and in some cases international standards and the OFTEC logo is a guarantee of technical compliance. Member companies must also prove they are financially viable, which gives some protection for consumers.
Many of our members take an active part in determining the future of the oil-fired appliance industry, setting standards and maintaining quality.
About the OFCERT© logo
Equipment carrying the OFTEC logo has been manufactured by an OFTEC member company. You may also see the OFCERT© logo.
The OFCERT scheme is administered by OFTEC, and any equipment certified as ‘OFCERT© approved’ has been manufactured to defined standards. OFTEC’s equipment directory contains a list of certified products and you can also search our list of members for suppliers of oil-fired equipment.
