Combining Energy Sources

Heating rooms and producing hot water accounts for around 79% of the UK’s domestic energy consumption* and the  energy source behind these services has a significant influence on carbon emissions.

If you are using oil to run heating and cooking appliances, you can probably use other sources of energy within your home alongside your oil fired appliances. Doing so may allow you to reduce the overall amount you spend on energy and will help to reduce your carbon footprint. You can find out more by downloading this booklet about home energy efficiency or visiting the Oilsave website.
