Expert Advice and Consultancy Services available from OFTEC
OFTEC staff and our external consultants have many years experience in the oil heating and cooking industry and are able to offer professional and expert advice you can trust. If you have a problem with an installation and need to employ an independent body to provide a report or advice OFTEC may be able to provide this service for you.
Examples of what we can offer…
- On-site inspections of oil hardware by a Regional Inspector. A private inspection would be followed by a compliance report, photographic evidence and suggest recommendations. Inspectors will observe and report their findings but will not be able alter, repair or adjust any equipment. Inspections are non-invasive and does not constitute a safety check/service or nullify the need for such.
- Expert advice for legal and other professional organisations such as Local Authority Building Control and Trading Standards, Insurance Companies, Property and Letting Agents, and Property Developers.
- Technical Seminars / Bespoke training courses: OFTEC is able to design a bespoke training seminar for your needs such as Continual Personal Development seminars on the latest requirements of Building Regulations and British Standards in the UK and Ireland. Attendees will be awarded an attendance certificate upon completion.

In cases involving an on-site inspection or CPD seminar, it is possible for expenses and cost of resources to be estimated beforehand so a quotation can be given before confirming the agreement. Payment in most cases is requested in advance.
